Job Summary:
 

PRKK is seeking an Individual will provide support for Military Construction (MILCON), Facility, Sustainment, Restoration, Modernization, specifically Facility Planning and Management Support.  

The USSPACECOM mission is to deter aggression and conflict, defend U.S. and allied freedom of action, deliver space combat power for the Joint/Combined force, and develop joint warfighters to advance U.S. and allied interests in, from, and through the space domain.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical services to support USSPACECOM facility requirements, facility maintenance, repair and office space management
  • Analyze functional needs and assist the Government in developing requirements for facilities housing USSPACECOM staff
  • Compile space requirements for submission to USSPACECOM facilities utilization process
  • Recommend office layouts and office moves to support USSPACECOM operations through floorplans and other visual media developed in appropriate computer-aided design (CAD) design tools
  • Manage work requests for maintenance and repair of existing facilities and assigned office space. Coordinate facility services and confirm performance of maintenance/repairs provided by various trades contractors and escort as required
  • Provide for office moves and office reconfiguration services
  • Support other USSPACECOM MILCON, Facility, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization as/when requested
  • Support other General Engineer and Lease Management Programs as/when requested

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10 -15 years of experience
  • Ability to identify and resolve challenges in a high-tempo, collaborative environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Accustomed to professionally interacting with General/Flag officers and senior civilian personnel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliverables with minimal guidance
  • 10-15 years of experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable DoD, USAF, USSF and CCMD polices and processes
  • Previous experience within Headquarters, Combatant Command or MAJCOM/Field Command
  • Previous experience with providing strategic advise, technical guidance, analysis and presenting  recommendations
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • BA/BS or MA/MS (degree in Civil, Industrial or other related engineering field)
  • Must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance
  • US Citizen
