Job Summary:
 

              Capability Development, Joint Requirements and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) support.

Duties include:

  • Provides daily subject matter expertise and implement recommendations to all levels of the MATs organization including the SpOC interaction and dependencies between JCIDS, Defense Acquisition System (DAS), and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), provide recommendations for SpOC opportunities to improve policies and procedures.
  • Maintains and updates the Space Operations Command (SpOC) Supplement to reflect changes made to Operational Capability Requirements Development directives annually.  Develops, revises, coordinate, adjudicate comments, resolve issues, and staff Information & Resource Support System (IRSS) taskers up to 5 times per month.
  • Provides support to HQ USSF/S5R with subject matter expertise on review of all submissions for the electronic Space Force Requirements Oversight Council (eSFROC) space submissions to include briefings, documents, transmittal memos, and certifications/attestations, for compliance with DoD JCIDS Manual and Department of the Air Force Instructions.  Document issues on a comment resolution matrix (CRM) and notify material owner to complete corrections where needed.
  • Reviews Air Force Form 1067s, Modification Proposals, and meets monthly Configuration Review Boards to comply with Operational Capability Requirements Development directives or follow-on Handbooks.
  • Assists HQ SpOC/S35PI and USSF/S5R in updating training requirements documentation and certification in accordance with Operational Capability Requirements Development directives Requirements Manager Certification Program (RMCT).
  • Provides Requirements, Acquisition and Budgeting Training.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Master Degree, preferably technical (Degree may be addressed via experience)
  • 10 years Space Operations or Acquistion experience,
  • 5+ years Space requirements experience
  • Experience in PPBE, Space Acqisitions
  • Experience instructing
  • Understanding of USSF
  • US Citizen
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Willing to take and pass a polygraph
